Which colour backdrop to chose for your studio session
We quite often get asked the question ‘What colour background would best suit me?’ so we thought we’d put together a little blog about how to chose the best-coloured background for you when opting for a studio headshot session. This applies to both our pop-up studio and fixed headshot studio in South West London.
The Classic White Background:
This option is probably the most popular as it is versatile. If you need an image that requires to be cut-away from the background, then this is the best option. White gives a slightly more modern edge to the image and is very popular with more creative clients such as agencies, tech companies and general sme’s. White can be used in two ways:

The Grey Background:
Grey is usually associated with more corporate clients such as law firms, banks, financial services companies etc. Again we can provide you with clean plain grey backgrounds or a slightly more feathered and textured grey background in different tones:
The Black Background:
This is popular with corporates and creatives and makes a bold statement although not as versatile as the other two options. You can however get more moody portraits and be a little more creative on a black backdrop. See some examples below:
